Response from owner

We take our client's feedback to heart, and pride ourselves on being the firm that isn't in it for the quick flip. We care about our clients' recovery and their receipt of appropriate medical care. We understand people's lives are dramatically affected by work comp injuries. This firm was founded based on H. Guy Smith's uncle who was paralyzed from a sawmill injury. It sincerely concerns me that you would feel the need to leave a review like this considering we have not represented you in over 12 years. I have reviewed what I can from your file (as we have changed computers systems since representing you) and I would love the opportunity to discuss your experience in detail. Please contact Kim @ kmassey@all-injuries.com with a current phone number where you can be reached.

I used this company for workman’s comp in 2020 and they are excellent in that department. Since I had a great experience I used them for a personal injury case thinking it would be the same result. The communication between Mr.Balentine and paralegal Jo was horrendous and things were not communicated and I had to do some of the leg work.My hospital bill was all inclusive with the surgeon who performed my procedure. I had been cleared medically communicated this with them and I still had to be the one to go hunt down the bill to get paid months after my clearance. I referred my daughter and son-in-law also for a personal injury case and they have totally screwed them over as well. I will give Jo props for negotiating a 92,000 bill down to 18,000. I did get a settlement but I got less than everyone and I did some of the work. I would highly recommend them for workmen’s comp claims but not personal injury cases.

I hired Carl Feddeler after I was hit in my back with a chair by a student. I was told by Feddeler zi was NOT going gto get any money. I filed papers with the court. The opposing attorney helped me get some money and I still had to pay Feddeler. Now, three years later, I am suffering from back problems. I have pain in my hip and legs. I am scheduled for surgery. Feddeler gets a zero star.

Response from owner

We do not take reviews like this lightly. Your file was pulled from the archives and reviewed. It has been determined that your facts are simply untrue. In fact, it appears that you left our firm and then came back and we agreed to represent you again. We will not divulge information about your case or your medical details on a public forum such as this. We sincerely wish you the best.

Grossly misrepresented: If you’re looking for an attorney that will not let you speak for yourself, twists others’ words and uses them against you and allows the opposing party to use lies to build a case against you, this is your guy. Never have I been more embarrassed and ashamed to be involved in a situation where my full faith and trust was in someone that absolutely did NOT have my best interests in mind.

Response from owner

We take reviews like this very seriously. This firm's mission is to represent the injured. Your file has been reviewed as well as the notes. In this line of work unfortunately we realize some people will never be satisfied, and that is amplified when an individual is hurt and not able to work. We understand the frustrations our clients face because we stand beside them, even when we are mistakenly perceived as the enemy. We wish you the best and truly hope you are able to find happiness and peace.

Do your homework and take your case elsewhere. Relative in dire need of more competent lawyers! Brad doesn’t work for his client’s needs and seems to be an individual that is paid for by the bigger corporations…hates his job, or is a straight rookie, based on his actions and unwillingness to listen. I’ll be spending more money for a better attorney! Also, note they would rather write off a review as “fake” when one is speaking honestly of their results, instead of attempting to restore trust…!

Response from owner

This client is not in our database, therefore this is a fraudulent review. Our firm, and Mr. Smith, are very dedicated to our clients and maintaining an exemplary level of professionalism. Attempts at defamation of character and insinuating our firm in any way has the best interests of "bigger corporations" in mind, could not be further from the truth. Our mission is, and will always be, fighting for the rights of the injured. I've searched our system and find that you are not, and have never been, a client of ours. Our firm only represents people and recently (this year) have been awarded the "Above and Beyond" award by a Statewide group who look out for the rights of injured workers. If you are familiar with the work comp system in Florida, then you should know that you will never be required to pay out of pocket for attorney fees, and attorney fees are approved by the Judge of Compensation Claims. Please keep that in mind if you are looking for a work comp attorney.

Everything seemed OK and legit at first, but horrors ensued as I was lied to and swindled at settlement time. They refused to make things right when I gave them the opportunity to do so. Now, I must hire another attorney to sue Mr. Smith for malpractice or bad business practices and breach of contract, and report him to the Florida Bar for what he did to me. I will not let this go. They are smooth as silk on the outside but without true integrity in my opinion.

Response from owner

We do not take a review like this lightly! After researching with our settlement department and Mr. Smith, the identity of Jonah1777 remains a mystery. PLEASE, if this is in fact a true client with legitimate concerns, rather than an effort to sabotage from one of our competitors, I request that you contact our office immediately to discuss.

I used they're services several years ago when I worked for a large retailer in Lkld, a workmans comp issue and was dissatisfied with them. Fired them although I still had to pay them... sent them loads of business back then but no longer. Felt compromised after catching and over hearing a conversation between my attorney and the opposing attorney in the rest room. Then they refused to share my personal info with my replacement representation. Not happy with them at all... but they got paid anyway!

H. Guy Smith represented my sister in a workers compensation case several years ago. When I dared to question his tactics, he almost threw me out of the office. Terrible communication with his legal assistant, Carol.
